Important Information for Competitors

This page will be updated in advance of the 2017 IRA National Championship and will contain pertinent information for all competitors of the regatta.

 

Important Supplements for Competitors

Please note as you make travel plans that we have been advised that the regatta site will not be open for IRA trailers until after 9:00 AM on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. The course will open for practice at 12:00PM that afternoon.

 

2017 IRA Championship Schedule

Wed. 5/31
9AM - Park Opens for Trailers
9AM-5PM - Registration in Aquatics Center. Coaches can pickup team wristbands and parking passes
9:30AM - Boat Weigh-In Certification Open. Boats MUST be weighed prior to being placed in the water. All Varsity Eight shells will be weighed
12PM - 7PM - Practice Open (All shells MUST pass through the boat washing station before being permitted in the water)

Thurs. 6/1
8AM - 6PM - Registration in Aquatics Center
8AM - Boat Weigh-In Certification Open. Boats MUST be weighed prior to being placed in the water. All Varsity Eight shells will be weighed
8:30AM-12PM - Practice
10AM - Coxswain Weigh-In Open (coxswains are not permitted to practice prior to weighing in)
2:30pm - 6PM - Practice
3PM - Men's Lightweight Weigh-In - Second Floor Classroom of the Aquatics Center
6:30PM - Coaches & Coxswains Meeting in the classroom at the Aquatics Center. ATTENDANCE MANDATORY

6:30AM - 7:30AM - Practice
8AM - Racing Begins
10AM - Women's Lightweight Practice Scale Opens - Second Floor Classroom of Aquatics Center
12:20PM - 1:45PM - Practice
2PM - Racing Resumes
3PM - Women's Lightweight Weigh-In - Second Floor Classroom of the Aquatics Center
4:30PM - 6PM - Practice
