Important information for spectator can be found below. Please read the below in full and ensure you are following all outlined expectations for the event so everyone can have a safe and memorable experience at the event.

  1. Is there an admission to attend the Championship? How do I purchase tickets?
    Yes, admission to the event is $10/per person each day. There is not a weekend pass option. Individuals can pay with cash on site or purchase their tickets ahead of time online using a credit card by visiting the below link

  2. Is there a fee to park?
    Yes, it is $10/day to park. Parking can be paid on site with cash or parking passes can be purchased ahead of time using a credit card via the below link
    https://princetonnationalrowingassocia.thundertix.com/Limited handicap parking is available for those with handicap placards. Upon arrival please let one of our volunteers know you need handicap parking.
    Limited golf cart shuttles will also be available to help bring individuals from the parking lot to the viewing area.
  3. Can I go into the athlete area to see my son/daughter?
    The athlete area is closed to all spectators and parents. The trailer field is like their locker room - we ask for your cooperation and that you abide by the posted signs, fencing and stay away from this area.
    If you do not cooperate with posted signage you will be escorted off site by one of our park rangers and may not be permitted to return to the venue.
  4. What if I need to give them something?
    You can call them and they can meet you at the fencing line to pick up food, drink or anything else they may need. You may not enter the athlete area even to drop something off.
  5. Our team purchased a finish line tent. How do I know where our tent is? How do I pick up our admission passes?
    The link to the tent layout can be found here. If your team purchased a tent, coaches will be given three-day pass vouchers when they register which can be exchanged for wristbands upon arrival to the venue. Coaches will need to male arrangements to give the passes to parents, they will not be held at admission or otherwise made available for pickup.
  6. We did not purchase a finish line tent, can I bring my own pop-up tent?
    Pop-up tents are prohibited. Individuals setting up pop-up tents will be asked to take them down by park rangers and may be asked to leave the facility if they are unable to comply with this request.
  7. I am not attending in person - how can I watch the event?

  8. When will awards be presented after grand finals?
    The awards schedule for Saturday and Sunday's Grand Finals are listed on our schedule (link below).

If you are in the finish line area, you can take a short walk through the wood area. When you see the playground please proceed towards the parking lot and you will see the awards stage.
  9. Will heat sheets be printed?
    We do not print heat sheets. Individuals can follow along with race results via the below link or by downloading our app - IRA National Championship via the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (androids)
