Important Information for Competitors
This page will be updated in advance of the 2019 IRA National Championship and will contain pertinent information for all competitors of the regatta.
Please note as you make travel plans that we have been advised that the regatta site will not be open for IRA trailers until after 9:00 AM on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. The course will open for practice at 12:00PM that afternoon.
2019 Approved IRA Hotel Properties (Click Here)
All teams participating in the 2019 IRA National Championship are required to stay at an approved hotel property. Approved properties can be found by following the link above. The Championship is receiving sponsorship from the generous parties at the Rancho Cordova Tourism Bureau and Visit Folsom.
2019 IRA Championship Tentative Schedule
Wed. 5/29
9AM - Park Opens for Trailers
9AM-5PM - Registration in Aquatics Center. Coaches can pick up team wristbands and parking passes
9:30AM - Boat Weigh-In Certification Open. Boats MUST be weighed prior to being placed in the water. All Varsity Eight shells will be weighed
12PM - 6PM - Practice Open (All shells MUST pass through the boat washing station before being permitted in the water)
Thurs. 5/30
8AM - 6PM - Registration in Aquatics Center
8AM - Boat Weigh-In Certification Open. Boats MUST be weighed prior to being placed in the water. All Varsity Eight shells will be weighed
8:30AM-12PM - Practice (All shells MUST pass through the boat washing station before being permitted in the water)
10AM - 2:45PM - Coxswain Weigh-In Open. Any coxswains failing to miss the weigh-in window without previous arrangements will be ineligible to race.

3PM - Men's Lightweight Weigh-In - Second Floor Classroom of the Aquatics Center
6:30PM - Coaches & Coxswains Meeting in the classroom at the Aquatics Center. ATTENDANCE MANDATORY
